For those who don't already know the wonders of Burgau there are lots of fantastic restaurants - you'll be spoiled for choice, and you can walk to them all.

You don't really need a car once you are in the village if you plan to do little more than chill out during your holiday. However this is a great place to explore the western and central Algarve so for longer stays a car would be recommended.

There is also a regular bus service to nearby Lagos.
