This is a small traditionally furnished portuguese house with its own pool, situated a short drive outside of Lagos, on the road to the Zoo.
It is in a quiet location surrounded by its own lovely mature garden, plenty of terrace space and a superb covered barbecue area.
The town of Lagos and the surrounding beaches and golf resorts are all within very easy reach.
This is a reasonable priced property, which will serve as a great base for a holiday in the western Algarve.

This house is set in a quiet and pleasant countryside location in the village of Portela just a five minute drive from Lagos.
It is simple but comfortable furnished inside in the Portuguese style. The house is very well set up for outside living in the summer. It has terrace areas all around, even up on the roof. These are set within the well kept mature gardens, with colourful plants and mature trees.
There is a good-sized pool overlooked by a self-contained terrace featuring an old fashioned 'nora' or well (fenced for safety purposes). Al-fresco dining is a 'must' at this house because it comes with a great covered barbecue area, complete with a traditional outdoor oven.
There's lots to do here. The historic and stylish resort of Lagos is just a short drive down the road. Here are lots of shops, restaurants and pleasant streets to explore. The marina is a great place to watch both boats and people. Here you can hire boats, go on hire speed boat trips, short cruises, learn to dive - and of couse book yourself on the ever-popular dolphin watching trips.
There's a great choice of local beaches within a 10 to 15 minute drive, and several first class golf courses also in easy reach. A little further afield but within easy reach is the western algarve coast. Here are spectacular unspoilt beaches and wonderful coastal scenery. This coast is a mecca for surfers - and there are several surf schools here plus plenty of surf board hire.
All-in-all this house will make a great base from which to enjoy the many attractions of Lagos and the western Algarve.
