The beach can be reached by a pleasant walk through the cobbled streets (5 min). There are several very good restaurants in Burgau. The resorts of Luz (5 mins) and Lagos (10 mins) are also easily accessible.

The apartment is extremely well appointed, with fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and heating, satellite TV. Lovely south/west facing balcony with barbecue and furniture.

The apartment has air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms, which also provides heating if needed during off-season bookings. It is very secure with double glazing to all windows and doors and electrically operated roller shutters. Tiled flooring throughout. Underfloor heating to both bathrooms.

The apartment has a private sunny balcony with outdoor furniture and built in barbeque. Well maintained communal grounds with swimming pool, additional kids pool, ample sun beds and open views over the bay. On site there's a restaurant and bar, well equipped resident's gym and Jacuzzi.

The superb sandy beach of Burgau is situated within a pleasant 5 - 10 minute walk. There are more beautiful beaches in Luz and Sagres, both situated near by.

For golfers the Parque de Floresta, Boavista and Palmares courses are all within a 10-15 minute drive and over 20 more courses are less than 1 hour drive away.

Faro airport is a 1 hour drive (90km) on the recently opened A22 motorway. Both Luz and Lagos are situated with 10 minutes drive of Burgau and can easily be reached by either taxi or the local bus service.

A hire car is not essential but would be an advantage (please refer to our rates).
Local Facilities and Activities :

The apartment is situated within five minutes walk of all local restaurants, bars and there are also a couple of small supermarkets serving local produce, again within walking distance. The Burgau Club restaurant, gym and jacuzzi are situated adjacent to the apartment only a stone's throw away.

The famous Slide and Splash water park is situated in Lagoa, a 20 - 30 minute drive, by car. Aqualand at Alcantarilha, Zoomarine and theme park at Guia near Albufeira (best in Western Europe). From the marina in Lagos there are boat and fishing trips and dolphin watching. Scuba diving can be found in Lagos and Sagres, windsurfing in Martinhal, tennis courts in Burgau and riding stables in Almadena.
