More details
Bordeira is a beautiful conservation village situated about 3km from the Atlantic coast in the Sao Vicente Natural Park in the Western Algarve.

In less than 5 minutes you can be relaxing over a coffee in the people watching village square in Carrapateira. Both Bordeira beach and Praia do Amado are another 2 minute drive from Carrapateira.

Bordeira itself tumbles down a hillside wooded with cork, eucalyptus, wild strawberry and cistus and on the valley floor are groves of orange trees, stands of bamboo and vegetable gardens tended by the very friendly local people.

This is a traditional Portuguese house - tastefully modernised by the UK owners - on three levels, overlooking the quiet village square where the locals sit and pass the day.

Living room with comfy sofas, lots of books and satellite TV so that you can watch the UK weather forecast while you're sipping a glass of vinho verde or port after a long sunny day on the beach.

Sun room filled with geraniums, bougainvillaea, succulents and cacti, leading to the roof terrace where you can dine in the evenings, with views over the village to the surrounding hills.

Minimum Rental Period: 5 Nights

Prices are per week per property for up to the maximum number of bed spaces. EG. 4 bedroom villa will be priced for up to 8 people, 3 bedroom for 6 etc. Additional children on folding beds or sofa beds and in cots (unless otherwise stated) will be charged a supplement.
