Benagil nestles on the cliff tops either side of a small ravine, leading down to a beautiful golden sandy beach where you can swim and explore the caves from one of the local fishing boats.
Beautiful cliff top walks await - a favourite of ours is round to the beautiful Senhora da Rocha beach and church, about an hour or so.
If that sounds like just too much hard work ( you are on holiday after all!) why not try the 10 minute walk to another amazing Algarve Beach - Cavalho - where you'll be stunned by the sands, the seclusion and views of the rugged coastline.
The village offers peace and quiet as well as 5 locally run restaurants offering traditional Portuguese food.
Just a 10 minute drive from lively Carvoeiro or the quaint market town of Lagoa, the apartment is close to golf, tennis, shops, potteries, waterparks, bars and numerous restaurants. With its renowned quay-side sardine lunches you can enjoy the fishing port of Portimao, also close by.
