3 Bedroom Country Villa in Eastern Algarve with Disabled Facilities
Set in beautiful countryside in the Eastern Algarve near Moncarapacho & Tavira, this house has recently undergone extensive restoration to accommodate disabled or elderly people. However, this is a family sized villa and will make a wonderful holiday home for groups of all ages and interests.

This 3 bedroom country house is set within three acres of level ground amongst various types of fruit trees and exotic plants.
It has a private above ground pool (6metres x 4 metres), terrace and indoor/outdoor barbecue area where you can eat, relax and soak up the sun - or have shade if you prefer!
The accommodation is very spacious and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite with wheel-in shower) large lounge/dining room with patio doors leading out to an open terrace, a fully equipped kitchen and a separate laundry room.
The accommodation is all on the ground floor & although the owner live in the floor above, there is complete privacy and exclusive use of all facilities but with the added benefit of additional care or advice being on hand if needed.
Special thought has been taken in relation to disabled access. Doors in the villa are extra wide to allow wheel chairs to pass and one en-suite bathroom has been similarly adapted. There are ramps and grab rails where necessary and even a pool hoist.
For those with young children, a baby cot, bath and booster seat can also be provided (free of charge). Linen is changed once a week and all towels are provided (except beach towels).
The villa has a log burning fire and electric convector heaters for those cooler nights. All accommodation is on the ground floor and a welcome pack is provided on your arrival.
The local town of Moncarapacho is a short drive away and has supermarkets, bank, post office, cafes, restaurants, gift shops, etc. To the south (20km) is the sedate historic town of Tavira, where there are shops, streets and sights to explore, or you might choose just to sit and watch the world go by while you sip the wonderful Portuguese coffee.
There is something for everyone here in the Algarve, maybe golf is your passion, water sports or simply strolling along the miles of golden sands. Whatever you decide it will be a truly wonderful experience. Open all year round.
From Tavira you can take boat trips around the lagoons and barrier islands, which form the coast in this part of the algarve. Or a short hop on a ferry (or a miniature train at Sta. Lucia) takes you across to the extensive beaches of Tavira Island.
Sleeping arrangements:
One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (adapted for wheelchair/disabled access). One further double and one twin bedroom. Double sofa bed in the lounge.

Prices are per week per property for up to the maximum number of bed spaces. EG. 4 bedroom villa will be priced for up to 8 people, 3 bedroom for 6 etc. Additional children on folding beds or sofa beds and in cots (unless otherwise stated) will be charged a supplement. Rental notes:
Tariff per is week in 2007 for up to 6 people sharing. Minimum 7 days rental in peak season.
Changeover days can be flexible - please ask.
Payment is by cheque or bank transfer in sterling or euros.
30 per cent deposit on booking and the balance 10 weeks before arrival. Full terms and conditions on booking.
The property is fully valeted at the end of each occupancy.
We do recommend that you hire a car from us to make the most of the Algarve - it is a wonderful place to explore and there's a lot more to it that just the beach.
But even if you prefer not to get behind the wheel that's not a problem as we can arrange a transfer direct from airport to accommodation and back again in an air-conditioned vehicle.
