Set in an idyllic valley of pines and eucalyptus trees, with lakeside paths and water frontage to the Barragem da Bravura this one bedroom log cabin is a very special place.
The wooden chalet cottage offers absolute peace and tranquility.
You can relax in:
- One double bedroom, which can be made up as a double bed or two singles, - Bathroom with shower - Sitting room with fitted kitchen area. - The veranda faces south with views over the lake.
Ideal for the nature lover, poet, artist and writer alike. You can swim in the lake 50 metres away. For fishermen: freshwater fishing for carp and black bass almost on your doorstep!
For the athletic: there are a variety of tracks suitable for cross country running, walking, rambling and mountain biking. Bikes are available from the owners who live nearby.
The small village of Pereira is a 10 minute drive, and here you can find José's, the local coffee shop and bar, with a small restaurant. Donna Julia, the second café. has a small shop for groceries.
The nearest beaches are 25 minutes drive - either the more popular southern coastline or the amazing beaches of the west coast. If surfing or body boarding is on your list of activities head for the beach at Praia do Amado at Carrapateira.

Changeover days can be flexible - please ask . minimum rental period is normally 7 days in the peak season, but we can be flexible - please enquire.
Payment is by cheque or bank transfer in sterling or euros.
30 per cent deposit on booking and the balance 10 weeks before arrival. Full terms and conditions on booking.
Security / damages deposit may be payable on arrival for some properties.
The property is fully valeted at the end of each occupancy.
