in the sought after village of Burgau, one of the few working fishing villages remaining along this stunning coastline.

With sea views and less than a minute's walk to one of the safest bathing beaches in the Algarve, this is the perfect family holiday home.

The house is also a great all year round base for golfers, with a short drive to a number of courses.

The house is very old and has been modernised to provide the essentials of modern day living but without stripping the character. Bedrooms have been tastefully decorated in a Portuguese style with great attention to detail.

There is no pool at this property but the beach is on your doorstep (under a minute's walk). The enclosed courtyard is planted with scented flowering shrubs and totally private making it perfect for families with small children.

The property has recently been lovingly and sympathetically updated without losing any of its original charm, it still retains most of its original tiling and plastering.

The entrance hall opens out into a large dining area which seats 8 around a large oak table. Down 2 small steps, is a large lounge which is comfortably furnished - one settee converts into a double bed if needed. There is a feature fireplace that warms the room in the winter months.

Patio doors lead out onto the pretty courtyard, which is furnished for al fresco dining, and has full-length sun beds with cushions.

The new kitchen contains all the comforts of home with a breakfast bar, full cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, and many other items.

There is a utility room with washing machine and many beach items such as buckets and spades, surf boards, inflatables and boules, all of which you are invited to use during your stay.

This villa is as spacious as they come and has been given lots of homely and tasteful touches by the new UK owners, who also use the villas as their own holiday home.

The highest attention has been given to bedding in particular and you'll just want to fall between the crisply laundered sheets as soon as you see them.

This house may have everything you'll need for a top class family holiday, but you'll be amazed at the price, which won't break the budget.

Golf enthusiasts will find many Golf Clubs
within easy reach including Parque da Floresta, just a 10 minute drive away, and lots in and around the Lagos area, about a 15 minute drive east.

There are many great restaurants in Burgau to suit all pockets.

The house has four bedrooms and so would be great for the extended family who want to travel together at an affordable price.
