This small private complex is only a 2 minute walk from the village square in the pretty western Algarve fishing village. There is no pool but for beach babes the safe, sandy beach is closer than the pool area in many larger holiday compexes!

We have 10 apartments in this beachside resort - and four of them have three bedrooms...see below.
Two of these pretty Salema 3 bedroom rental apartments are on the lower level of the small holiday complex and have stunning sea views from large south facing terraces. The other two also have sea views with one also looking out over the hillside and the other also taking in the village.
Apartment 5: End of row apartment with a very large terrace with views of both the village and the sea. Apartment 10: The opposite end of the block with another very large balcony with hillside and sea views. Apartment 7 & 8 :In the middle of the block - both with amazing sea view terraces.
All of the three bedroom apartments are duplex style ( on two levels ) with the bedrooms downstairs to keep cool and the living areas upstairs to make the most of the amazing sea views.
Accommodation comprises fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, and comfortable living room with dining area.
The balconies are reached from the living room, providing fantastic views day and night of the whole village and Atlantic ocean beyond.
The master bedrooms are double with ensuite shower room and two further twin bedrooms share a separate bathroom (shower over bath). All of the bedrooms have a window looking onto the rustic landscaping.
This is the perfect choice for an economical family holiday in a spacious self-catering apartment, in Portugal's west Algarve. Salema's beach is broad and sandy and offers safe family swimming. If you like the waves required for surfing - or just want to enjoy the stunning scenery - it is just a short drive to Carrapateira and beaches such as Praia do Amado and Bordeira.

Golf Information :
Guests at the apartments have the benefit of temporary membership at the Quinta da Boavista golf club near Lagos. Other courses within easy reach of the apartments include, Parque da Floresta, Palmares, famous for its annual Almond Blossom tournament in early February, and the three courses at Penina. Additionally, we can offer pre-bookable tee-times at the majority of Algarve courses. However, we recommend early booking in order to secure the times of your choice. Local Nightlife :
Salema has several restaurants serving regional cuisine and locally caught seafood and there are several bars in the village. For those seeking more extensive entertainment Lagos is 15kms away. Here there are lots of shops, restaurants bars, historic buildings, cobbled streets and a great atmosphere.
Other Activities :
The marina at Lagos has the usual facilities for boat hire & charters and deep sea fishing - not to mention the enormously popular Dolphin Safaris. Other sporting activities such as tennis, squash, bowls etc are available at the nearby resort of Burgau. Lagos Zoo is great for children & adults alike - it's only about a15 minute drive away. There's also a Health Spa at Parque da Floresta. For the more energetic, Salema has magnificent coastal walks along cliff-tops passing through unspoilt countryside with magnificent views along the Algarve coastline.
