Close to the long distance Algarve Way walking route & set in beautiful countryside - lush with orange, lemon and olive groves-between the market towns of Silves & Messines.
A short drive to many restaurants this Algarve B&B is the perfect place to use as a base to explore both coast and inland.
Beaches-and there are dozens to choose - are an easy 20 minute drive. Surfers can reach the west coast in 45 minutes.

This double roomed Algarve bed and breakfast is the perfect cottage for those who want to explore the real Algarve.... for walking holidays, bird watching, cycling or just relaxing.
Together with another small cottage the house is situated within a private terraced courtyard together with a small pool (4m x 3m) and lots of outside seating for dining, sunbathing or just relaxing. As we are situated on top of a prominent ridge, we have lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
We live in the adjacent cottage and so our guests have maximum privacy.
There is just one letting bedroom, with a double bed and an en-suite shower-room so you will enjoy a secluded and quiet stay.
The room has a ceiling fan but we must point out that as this is a traditional Algarvian longhouse, with walls up to 2ft thick, it keeps its cool in the summer and warmth in the winter...you'll rarely need the fans.
You can use the kitchen to make tea and coffee.....or prepare a G&T if that's more your taste!
Breakfast is served on our beautiful terrace underneath the vine or, in cooler months, in the dining room. We offer a full continental breakfast with fresh fruit, breads, cheese, local honey and so on - you won't go out for the day hungry!
And for a small extra charge we are also delighted to prepare a packed lunch for guests. We have a menu to suit all tastes - including wine or beer to make it a proper Algarve picnic. ( advance notice needed)
The lounge, which is available to our guests, has satellite TV, radio and CD player - and you are welcome to relax here. We also have lots of books (about 200 at the last count!), board games etc. Free wi fi is available.
Guests who visit this peaceful location for B&B are usually looking for somewhere to switch off - and it couldn't fit the bill better for that. But it is also a fantastic location for those who want to walk or cycle in the stunning countryside - we are just a few minutes from access to a stretch of the newly completed Algarve Way.
