Car Hire - Faro Airport Only

Book car hire here for delivery and collection at Faro Airport with no payment until you arrive. If you also need accommodation please check out our apartments and villas throughout the Algarve.
Cars are picked up directly for the terminals with no transfers to off-site depots.
Minimum car hire is 3 days. Prices for 5 days or less are charged at a rate of one fifth of the weekly rate per day.
EG: 4 day rental of vehicle priced at 200 euros per week.
200 / 5 = 40. Therefore 40 is the daily rate for bookings of less than one week. 4 day rental would be 160 euros.
Please note that our prices are in EUROS and we believe you will find them hard to beat. We deal directly with a reputable, Algarve car hire firm and cut out the middleman - offering our clients the best value and personal service.
We have been using this company personally for 8 years.
Car Hire is at the terminal (Car Park 4) and our staff are friendly and efficient. You will pay exacly what we advise on your booking confirmation and nobody will try to 'add on' anything when you arrive.

Please note: the types of car listed is not necessarily the car you will get. We can book by group only and cannot guarantee any specific make or model of vehicle. Where models are different (eg; you may be given a Corsa rather than a Punto), there will be no reduction in type. IE; Book a 5dr hatchback with air con and you will receive at least that spec.

NON WAIVABLE RESPONSIBILITY applies for the insurance of the vehicles.
This confuses some hirers who think that by not inclding the excess waiver they are not insured 'fully comprehensive'. That is not the case - all cars come with full comprehensive cover.
It is exactly the same as your own insurance company offers you at home. You can pay slightly more insurance and have no 'excess' in the event of a claim or pay a little less and have to pay an 'excess' charge if you claim..
To keep the cost down you pay a fee for insurance that covers you for most, but not all, of the cost of any major repairs, in the unfortuante event that your car was badly damaged or stolen. Were this to happen you would pay up to the 'excess' for the group of vehicle you had hired. (see below for excess charges for different vehicle groups.)
EG: If you hired a 5 door car with air con - Group H - and declined to pay the excess insurance waiver, and your car was stolen, you would have to pay 350 euros, the maximum 'excess' for that group.
If you hired the above car and you had a minor bump with damage costing 150 euros you would pay 150 euros.
If the damange was 750 euros you would pay 350 euros, the maximum you can be liable for in that group.
If however you paid an extra 30 euros per week - the insurance excess waiver - and any of the above were to take place you would have to pay absolutely nothing - it would all be handled by the insurance company. (subject to normal terms and conditions)
- Excess Insurance of up to 350 applies for Groups B, H and L - option to take extra insurance 30 per week
- Excess Insurance of up to 650 applies for Group J - option to take extra insurance 35 per week
- Excess Insurance of up to 750 applies for Groups I and K - option to take extra insurance 50 per week
Note:
- The extra insurance does not cover tyres, punctures, coded keys and any accident caused if the driver is under the influence of alcohol.
- A valid credit card will be asked for as a guarantee of petrol deposit and excess insurance if you choose not to waive the excess - which we strongly recommend for peace of mind.
