Booking Procedure and Terms & Cancellation Policy
On confirmation of your reservation - by email, phone or text - you will be sent an email with full confirmation in writing. This will reconfirm all details including the website property reference number, price to be paid in full, deposit due (if more than 10 weeks before date of travel) and any other special conditions of the reservation. At this stage you will be directed to our online secure Booking Form and asked to complete this, providing full details of those travelling and your travel arrangements. We need this information to manage your reservation and it will be used only for that purpose. (See our privacy policy)
We require a deposit of 20 - 30 per cent of the total cost (this depends on the property) and advise that bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is received.
On receipt of your booking form, however - which should be sent within 24 hours of your confirmation letter being received by you, your reservation is held for you for 5 days to allow time for your payment to reach us. In the event that your payment does not reach us in the allotted time frame we will always try to contact you by email, text or landline phone to ascertain the situation.
Deposits and balance payments are not refundable once paid or due. Please ensure you take out cancellation/ travel insurance as soon as you book.
The balance of payment is due 10 weeks prior to your departure date. In normal circumstances deposits and balance payments are not refundable once made or due. If you cancel between 0 days and 10 weeks before your departure and you have not paid your balance, the balance due will be owing to us.
If you cancel for reasons that will allow you to be reimbursed by your insurers Algarve-Rentals.com Ltd will be happy to provide the appropriate paperwork for your insurance company.
By completing and returning our booking form you are entering into a contract with Algarve-Rentals and your deposit is immediately due. Full balance is due for anyone travelling within ten weeks of booking.
