Ok, there may have been a credit crunch in 2009 - but this caught lots of people out when it came to booking their holidays. Many people thought that there would be lots of availability & lots of discounts.

In 2009 The Algarve was as busy as ever. Nearly all of our self-catering villas & apartments were full in peak season. People who left it late in the expectation of discounts found huge difficulty in finding what they wanted. Not only that - The Algarve literally ran out of hire cars in summer.
